W H Baker was originally founded by William Henry Baker in the late 1800's. William began his trade as a diamond merchant based at No1 Hatton Garden, London. In addition to the diamond business William started to invest in residential property in and around South East London. This portfolio grew substantially over the years and comprised of mainly flats and houses together with some commercial premises. In 1999 brother's Simon and Daniel Baker, great grandson's to William, established W H Baker Ltd in order to continue the growth and name of the company.

W H Baker Ltd is a private company specialising in the acquisition of residential apartments and houses occupied by protected or sitting tenants. All tenanted and vacant residential property is considered within the groups purchasing criteria.

The current portfolio has now spread countrywide with properties located as far north as Newcastle and as far south as Penzance.

W H Baker has a continuous policy to repair, maintain and improve all of their properties in order to maintain good tenant landlord relationships.

Director Profile

Simon Baker, previously a director of Richard Ellis spent 10 years in the Far East working out of Hong Kong, Bangkok and Jakarta, where he established and ran their investment departments.

Daniel Baker previously worked as a land buyer for a major UK developer and has worked with and advised a number of London local authority residential valuation departments
